With strong state markets, the commitment of the local processors and end users, along with the network of support mechanisms and educational organizations, the industry has unique and unparalleled potential for recovery and use of recycled commodities.

Citizens are overwhelmed by the magnitude of environmental issues and become complacent about the one really easy way that they can participate in reversing the impact -- recycling. They need continual and ongoing educational boosts, clarification and factual information in an easy to access format. We, as industry leaders, must stay informed and educated on the day-to-day progress, challenges, technology, regulatory issues, legislation and resources. Using the combined personal, professional, and financial resources of our members is the most efficient and effective way to keep recycling at the forefront in Georgia.
